The combination of black and yellow has penetrated as a sign of caution and is used in many ways, including road signs, treads, construction sites, and product manuals. The same is true of the marker rope, which indicates the location needs attention. It’s a cheap polyethylene product with black and yellow stripes that anyone can buy at a hardware store, but it plays a big role. This cheap rope takes care of the line between safety and danger, and between everyday and extraordinary. t also serves as a physical barricade, but the main purpose is simply to call attention, so the color scheme is highly visible and easy to see from a distance. The time it takes to see the rope and recognize its meaning is just a fraction of a second. The rope can be said to exist for a moment. In this work, by displaying a marker rope as a subject matter, a qualitative change was brought about in the act of “see” from “Caution” to “appreciation”, and a reconstruction of fixed value was tried by giving a role of the reverse to what was originally not supposed to be seen for a long time.
